If you want a good laugh . .

Wow, that was really bad, I could only make it 1/2 way through. It's like they went to a flea market to do their research.

Research? I think they typed "badass knives" into google, or maybe just the search function on some teenage chat-room.

What they are really trying to do is scare people. I looked at the first two and imagine their goal is to really make people say: "These are Weapons! How can these be legal?!"

This is an anti knife article, IMO.

It's journalism in these days.:D If you think that in another place it's better - Nope. Regardless of country, everywhere the same.

Saw M tech, then was distracted by 15 best cheerleader squads in the NFL. I'll try again later. 😄

It is the Washington Compost, after all. :)

It is the Washington Compost, after all. :)

Not the Washington Post or the New York Times - which are both quality, but liberal publications - this is the Washington Times, which is a conservative-leaning tabloid.

Most lists like this are bad, but this one is truly bizarre. It really does read like one of the editors let their 13-year-old son who's into knives, though not quite old enough to distinguish the good stuff from the bad, write an article.

Hungry Hank. Right when I saw it I had a feeling it was a BudK. The following search confirmed it. In the first YouTube video that pops up for it the kid doing the review pulls the blade out from the handle. He liked the ensuing throwing knife and steel knuckle combination that it made.

Oh come on, who wouldn't want a full size Kuhkri (spelling?) for cleaning pan size trout and battling chipmunks. Afterall you never know when you might need something to chop your own limbs off.

At least it wasn't the The Washington Post. The Washington Times is obviously a few rungs down on the journalistic ladder. A POS by MTech is described as a "rare melee weapon"... 14-year-olds cruising the aisles at Walmart for something to stab old tires and washing machines with could not have failed so beautifully.

The second knife on their list is the CRKT FE9... whatever. But the photo displays the completely useless 'training knife' that comes with it, made of cheap, hollow plastic. Nicely done.

EDIT: I see someone beat me to it. :)

Boker Plus Colubris
This knife is unique in so many ways. Its cutting edge has a slight curve upward that maximizes versatility while still allowing it to be effective.

I really hope that Boker has a patent on that unique feature. I'd hate to see other manufacturers exploit this article to steal Boker's trade secrets.

Did you notice that the second knife on the list is actually a picture of a plastic training knife? :D
