Hello guys,

I live in England which i think has some of the most restrictive laws in realtion to weapons especially knives.

In England the only blade you can carry legally is a folding pocket knife with a blade of less than 3 inches, thats it!! If the blade has a locking mechanism it is illegal. You can not carry a fixed blade unless you have a good excuse for carrying it. For example your a chef on the way home from work!!

It is illegal to import balisongs, to sell them hire them or basically have them (ive got 3, but dont tell anyone!) Automatic knives are illegal.

Just thought i'd put this on so you all know what a crap place England is to live!!

Take it easy

But at least there's that great food! (Just kidding, several of my family members had great experiences visiting the UK and I am now eager to go.) However, it is unfortunate that the UK has such a long tradition of not wanting its citizens to be armed.

What's funny is that several hundred years ago when the monarchy demanded that essentially all the civilian population be armed and proficient with the longbow, they were ruling most of the known western world.

I don't think it's ever psychologically good for a country to immasculate it's citizenry. Let's hope America keeps that in mind in our flurry to pass homeland defense laws.
