... and they provided you with no knives, but said you could take 1, what would you take ?

To make it more interesting how about change it a little - they give no tools either, so you can take 1 knife, and one 'other' tool ?

How about a Steel Heart II-ergo and an axe.

I second the SH2-ergo, plus I'd take along my Wave.

That and I'd try not to ***** about everything like everyone on survivor does so I wouldn't get voted out!

You could put nacho cheese sauce on it...

Certainly not the POS knife that broke

I would take my Chris Reeve Project I; full of matches and a compass.

HaHa sorry to anyone who's a serious fan of the show. I think its a funny idea myself. Bunch of yuppies sent out in their swimsuits to fight with each other for a couple weeks.
If I was on the show though I would want about a 6" fixed blade of some good carbon steel. Not sure which one, I'm more in to folders right now since thats what I'm using and attempting to make.
And of course for my "tool" to bring along I'd want a good hatchet. Something with a fairly slim head in terms of thickness but still very solid with about 4" of cutting edge.
Or perhaps instead of the hatchet a rifle so I could eat something other than rats

and maybe fend of some of the not so well prepared.

**It's a Tropical Island so you need something all purpose ,but with good thrashing capabilities.I'd like to try out
that Becker Knife & Tool " BRUTE " looks like it would do a good job in that type
of enviroment.

Thats a Good ONE

Interesting replies. I was saving mine. I would have to second the Becker choice, that's exactly the one I had in mind ! They look bulletproof ! For a second tool, I was also thinking of a multi-tool, but perhaps the magnesium firestarter would be a better idea.

Oh yeah, and a boonie hat, a pair of boots, and a bandana !

Khukri and a Savage 110FP .308.

CRK Shadow I and a small axe (Marble's?).

It's only a mistake if you fail to learn from it!

My CRK Shadow IV, a good stout Machete, a case of Jack Daniels(with the appropriate case of Coke) and lots of clean sheets

.

Chris Reeve Project 1 filled with matches.
A multi-tool as an extra, if they let me.
Water tablets would be nice, as well.

Although, someone once said(paraphrase)that there is not much a faithful man (women) could not do with a Bible and perhaps a good concordance, as an extra, if allowed.

Now if you had that Bible AND a CR P-1, ???

My Simonich Talonite Cetan, Swisstool and Estwing hatchet. That oughta do it.
Allright, so this is technically more than one, this is a TV show !!! Geez, they probably wouldn't know what a Swisstool is !
