For Hunting, skinning, fishing, cooking, fighting, camping, for everthing in life you may need a knife which knife would you pick.

This is the one I would keep.

I'd probably keep my Esee 6. It's a bit big for detail work, but still manageable, and it'll handle most larger tasks just fine.

Plus, if I only get 1 knife in my life, I want the one with the best warranty in the business for when I break it :p

With me, when I think of picking only one knife for the rest of my days, I would most likely choose a fixed bc it would last a looooong time.. And since I'm choosing from my own blades, I'd pick my BM 375. It would take a decade or so to take even a bit of material off, and the knife could function superbly in any outdoor setting.. - Good for beating the crap out of, and - hunting, skinning, fishing, etc etc.

If I were to choose a folder, I would choose one of my 940-121's (because, with these materials, the knife would last a long time..) Both CF & Polished/Anodized Ti looks good even with hardy/regular use.. Plus M4 is a super strong steel & holds a great edge for extended periods of time.

I'm sure I will not be only one with choice of Becker BK2.

If a stand alone, the BK-2. If acompanied with a hatchet or axe, ESEE 4 or 6. I have been semi lost in remote isolated bush and it is a s....y feeling. I want absolute trust that my cutting tool will not break. With all due respect, a warranty means nothing to me when alone, cold, hungry and bug eaten in the dark. I am not trying to be sarcastic or rude to anyone. This is just how I feel from personal experience. We all make our own judgements based on our own needs\experiences.

The reason I picked this big old knife is because my father used it his whole life to process meat. Then his 2nd woman hated the knife and it went to the shed and was used in the yard for a machete. After Dad passed I used it the same way then one day decided it was time for it to come back inside. This knife has been used to slaughter, chop through bone and branch then slice roast.
It’s a good old tuff knife that has proven it self from more then 55 years.

Probably my Benchmade 275 Adamas, because it's the closest thing to a good survival-friendly knife I have, considering that I currently lack a good fixed blade.

Some type of good fixed blade, can't say which one yet as I don't own a good fixed blade yet. That still leaves me the option of modding SAK's and Leatherman's by removing the blade and getting by the 1 knife rules right?

I can't do pictures, but I would choose my Busse Boss Jack. Big, but not too big. 6 1/4 inch blade. A good all rounder.
