If your Sebenza could talk......

So as I was sitting in a leather recliner at, 45,000 feet in the Gullfstream G450 that we had just completed, I began to admire my newly acquired starbenza and ponder. If Sebenzas (or any CRK) could talk, what stories would they tell? These fine knives were made to work and I was wondering what kind of careers they all have. So if anyone would share stories of your sebenzas (or any Idaho made) moment of fame or what it does on day to day basis.

As I said before, my sebenza is in the aviation field. I recently switched my edc from a large 21 to a small starbenza and they have both served me well. I work in the final phase completion center and upon completion, there are a series of test flights that take place. The one I am involved in is the cold soak. The aircraft must fly at altitude for a minimum of three hours thus soaking it at roughly -65 degrees F. At that temperature, the cabin will actually flex and contract. My team and I check the functionality of furniture, electronics, and plumbing. We also check for flaws in the finish and tolerances. So my Sebbie got to fly in ultimate luxury, a good reward for being such a hard worker without complaint. We are restricted from taking photos of customer aircraft, but I will share some general photos to give you an idea of her adventure

Mine doesn't have a career. Day to day, mine just cuts what I need it to. Nothing specific really.

My Sebenza would most likely say "Save me from this awful owner!" because I don't own one yet. :p

Your first sentence was a luxurious and exciting one. I am jealous. :)

I used to edc the large more, but the small has seen more action lately. It usually depends on my day. If I'm going to be in the great outdoors then ill take the large, but I usually take the small for day to day tasks.

As per the real or video game question........it's real......$50,000,000 + real! They are amazing aircraft though. The CRK of aviation.
Besides, i don't have the time for video games, and I still can't figure out how so many people find time to play video games for hours on end. I'm lucky to find 20 minutes to browse Bladeforums!

Mine would be pretty bored, just going to work and back. Now my old one.....the one my daughter accidentally threw away......I am sure is would have lots to say!

I'm two hours away from you in Charleston. You ARE going to invite me for a plane ride:)

Only if you stock the galley with some fine, mouth watering BBQ!

Thank you. I am really blessed to do what I do and I try hard not to take it for granted. I really wish I could share more photos because I could take some very interesting photos! I noticed you said 'yet'. If you get your hands on a sebenza, it will ruin you forever! My advice would be to pick up a pre-owned Sebbie. It'll cost a bit less and you can send it to the spa and it will look like it did the day it was made. You won't regret pulling the trigger!

Yeah awesome job:thumbup:, my Seb's and Umnum have a boring life:thumbdn: there laid off carpenters

Mine would say.....ZZZzzzzzzzzzzz. I'm an engineering program manager dealing with high speed analog circuit design and architecture. That means my typical office carry is a small Insingo. In order to not raise too much attention at work it rides in the bottom of my pocket with no clip. As soon as I get home I grab my large Classic and look for things to cut!
