No Ganzaaaaa for me, though I did have some proxies offer to give a Hog a hand.

Went down to a property in Alabama to do some demo work on the kitchen and meet some contractors. The trip, however, did not start out well. An hour down the road, this happened to my utility trailer in a remote stretch of highway...

That was about a three hour delay while I hunted down a new tire and rim on a Friday night. Not easy, but Lowe's came through for me (fourth store I tried).

Saturday, I did get to have a little fun with a FFBM while tearing out some ancient kitchen cabinets.

Sunday, I took a three-hour hike into the woods around my mom's place. Took a few pics of gear and INFI along the way.

Daypack and head gear:

I might have been a little over-geared for a three-hour hike. :p

A nice fall pic:

As some here know, I'm a fool for the FBM SE. A series of pics follow:

Wow - Great pics!

Oh, and you're only over-geared if you can't outrun whatever's after you. Wait, with all that gear you don't have to run! Nevermind. :D

Great pics Guyon!! Thanks for sharing. Looks like a great time. (Except the whole blown out tire thing. ;) )

Some really cool shots Guyon!!!

I really like the fall BATAC pic, and the tower of FBM SE against the fall yellow leaves.

So... how long did you ride on the flat??? :p
Glad Lowe's was able to come thru for ya!

Not too far, but enough to make me worry. The trailer flat really didn't register like a flat on the truck would have . Felt rough for a few seconds, then it smoothed out a bit, then I looked back and noticed the trailer was tilted.

Less than a half-mile, but enough to shred the tire. As soon as I felt it, I was hoping to get closer to an exit. Didn't happen. :thumbdn:

Like your Mak.

Great little pistols! In a FOBUS holster, a Makarov makes a compact little hiking companion.

(BTW, serial number Photoshopped on the pictured gun.)

I have two Bulgies and would like to have a Russian.

Great pics, love the background on the FBM LE pic.

Thanks for sharing

Jeez!! What are the odds of running over a Busse FFBM in the road???? For me it's just usually a nail....:foot: ;)

... Seriously, I'm glad the tire incident didn't wreck your weekend, and I love the "nice fall pic" (Also the FBM SE pic)... I'd say that it's too bad MORIMOTOM's contest is over 'cause that would be worthy of entering, but seems that you're doing really well with your other pic anyway! :D:thumbup: Great pix, thanxx for posting them.

You've got a beautiful fall over there. And some pretty knives, too. :D

Is that in NE Alabama? The clear water and moss look to be from that area

Man, you have some nice toys in alot of your pics. Looking for a Maxpedition pac myself, What model is that?

Those Makarov's are sweet for the money, I have a Norinco from china and it will shoot with my Sig 232's
