Yeah, or that time he said, "Son, don't play with that knife, or you'll cut yourself." But you did anyways......and you did cut yourself :D

i only cut myself twice with my knives:

once with my Smith & Wesson S.W.A.T. i wanted to see how sharp the edge was, so i ran my finger down the length of the edge instead of across the edge perpendicularity...ill never forget that feeling

then about a year ago, i had a protech TR3 that came open while in my pocket, i reached in to get my keys and slid my thumb down into my pocket and it bit me right on my thumb-tip (fingertip?). that one bled a lot.

but my dad never told me not to "play" with knives, he knew i respected how sharp they were and used them as tools always. but they did have to talk to me about fire a couple of times :)
