This birch bark handle has to be felt to be believed.
Much like a cork fishing rod grip, but firmer.
This is one stout, carbon steel knife.
3 1/2" blade, 4" handle, brass bolster and buttcap.
Forge(?) finish on the blade flats, polished zero grind edge.
The sheath is leather with brass trim and a plastic insert to keep the blade from cutting through.
Me like :D

Great Pic!! I have anohter model but I really like the look of this one. I would assume that with a Birch Bark handle the knife would feel very light??? Is that the case?

I wouldn't classify this as a 'light' knife.
The blade is thicker than a Swedish Army knife and the brass bolster/buttcap add some weight too.

Then again it aint a boat anchor either ;)
