Anyone have any thoughts info or knives from this company? Sounds like it could be Imperial, the quality looks similar.
There is one I am intereste in, with jigged slick black scales, an easy opener with a bail. Cool knife as it has Brown Shoe company on the huge shield.

Who was it looking for a quality knife with a screwdriver/bottle opener second blade, this would fit the bill.

This is the second almost Mechanics or radio type knife I've eyballed. Seems like a neat pattern to collect. The other one had more of a mechanics knife had the old style celluloid advertizing oil. That one was an easy open jack with a larger screwdriver with a prestolite or square key wrench in the blade.

IKCo. is Imperial Knife Co. A good deal for the workin' man!

Thanks Waynorth. There's something about the older Imperials that I like. They're not the best well made knife but there's something about 'em.

Part of my collection of antique IKCO knives....they made quite a variety of patterns...not the sowbelly jacks and the baseball bats.

Very interesting post. I would love to see more of these and with the blades open. Looks like some really nice patterns and interesting colors. Thanks for sharing these and the post.

Four years later! Wow; a Rip Van Winkle thread!!

IKCO is indeed a worthy tang stamp. Imperial is one of those companies that made big changes in the knife industry - knives for everyman, produced by, and for, Americans!!
