I don't see a lot of knives that I can't live without, but when I saw Flavio Ikoma's Harrier Proto a few months ago, I knew I had to have one.
It is an extraordinary piece that captures the true art of knifemaking in both form and function. Flavio's skill and craftmanship are among the finest I have seen.
Thanks to Duane at EDC Knives (who is the exclusive dealer), I was fortunate enough to acquire this Timascus Croc 350 Harrier. Two days after it arrived, it was announced it made the February 2010 cover of Blade magazine.
If you get a chance, please pick up a copy of Blade. There are four pages of very interesting articles detailing not only the knife, but Flavio Ikoma and Duane Weikum/EDC Knives.
Photos compliments of Flavio Ikoma.
