ILBE Main + Assault Pack Attachment Confusion!

So, I bought an ILBE main pack and Assault pack, but with all the bells and whistles (rather ONE MILLION buckles), I'm not sure how to attach the Assault pack to the ILBE main pack properly. They way I'm currently doing it doesn't seem right somehow. Does anyone know how to join the two up most efficiently or have a resource for attaching them? My google-fu yielded nothing on this one
