Hi SOG Forumites,

I'm going to have a pretty busy week or two, so let me give you my schedule.

I'll be in San Diego for a quick business trip on May 21st - 22nd. It's one of those be at the airport at 4am Tuesday and arrive back in Seattle around 10pm Wednesday (then probably won't be home till midnight). So I'll have an exhausting trip to the GSA convention.

Then, I'm heading into the hospital on Friday morning, May 24th till sometime on Monday afternoon, May 27th. As many of you know, I'm a migraine headache sufferer. I'm currently running about 20 per month. I've been under the care of neurologists specializing in migraines for about ten years and have suffered from them all my life. My neurologist wants to hook me up to an IV and feed me a continuous drip of D.H.E. 45 for at least 72 hours. This has had outstanding results in people such as myself; some being completely migraine free for months. So, we're going to give it a try. Cross your fingers for me.

In the two days I'll be in the office that week, I'll need to fit in five days of work, so if I make it in here (the forums), it will be only very, very briefly. So in brief. I’ll be mostly gone from May 20th – May 28th.

OK...Here's some housekeeping: :)

Firstly, all immediate questions and concerns relative to our products with that you desire assistance, direct them to my very capable staff at 888.SOG.BEST or 425.771.6230 (ask for Consumer Services), post your question and patiently await my response, or wait till May 28th (or so) to post.

Secondly, I’m entrusting the general daily maintenance of this forum to Bobby B. He’s a huge SOG fan, relatively knowledgeable about our products, and someone I trust to take care of things. He also has my cell & home phone numbers to contact me if there are concerns.

Thirdly, I’ll let BladeForums.com’s site administrator and super moderator’s know so that if you don’t play nicely, they’ll drop the hammer in here! :)

Take care...

OK, Ron!
Make your business successfully, when – the most important – kick the back of your migraine and come back completely healthy.

I will cross my fingers for you and try to behave as nicely as possible :D

Have a good trip, then get yourself better.
I'd have trouble with 1 migraine.....ever.... never mind 20 per month aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrgh.
Get better.
I'll take good care of things:D  :D
Don't watch Risky Business;)

Take care Ron,
Rob

Rob, you may have those super powers in the great expanse of your fantasies. Just believe in yourself!

Thanks everyone...I have every intention on getting better. In my longterm migraine rehabilitation, in addition to the weekend at "club med," is massage therapy. :D And yes...paid for by insurance! Weekly massages...I think I just lost all your collective sympathy!

Ron the Don,

Real sorry to hear of your condition. Keep up the positive thoughts, and no matter what... never ever forget to smile. Laughter, I am told is the best medicine. Understand that it actually produces a healthy chemical reaction within the body's makeup. And I am not talking about Viagra. Hope it works out for you.
May the Force be with you Obi Ron.

Bobby B,

What great news indeed. Now that you're the 'Vice' SOG-K Moderator, how about a Bobby B's special 'seconds' contest?:-)

Krizzard, out.

God speed, and get well we'll add you to evening prayer "roll call" with the little one!

Krizzard,
Patience (as opposed to patients) my friend...
All going as planned, there may be a contest around Hallowe'en;)

Ron,

My wife has a bad migraine problem. I feel for you. I hope this treatment works for you, and you wont need to be in the dark quiet place for a long time to come. My wife used to say that she would shoot herself if she could find quiet way to do it, or the strenght to move from the phetal position. Keep us posted. Reagan

Good,he's gone!
Man I get tired of that guy :p ;)

Seriously, good luck Ron. I sincerely hope all goes well.
