What can I expect from the outlet? I'm looking at maybe an ocelot and aqua salt. Not sure yet I'll decide when I'm there. Do they have all the models and are there good deals?

Aqua salt probably. Ocelot...pretty iffy. They were discontinued when I picked up mine a year ago...Good luck, and enjoy the visit, I'm sure they'll have something you'll "need"

You can expect lotsa knives and great customer service. I'm sure you'll find something. :)

Last time I was there they had a BG-42 millie (that one of the workers snagged when I pointed it out), and a D2 Para. They've got some interesting movie knives in there, too!

I ended up getting the aqua salt. Any of the pictures I have seen do not do the sheath justice. All around it's a quality package. Gail and Sal were great to talk to and have a real passion for the business.

Gail almost had me convinced I need a Goddard... maybe next year.

I am so tempted to get a aqua salt since I've wanted one for a long time now and the price has dropped quite a bit. How do you like it? Have any pictures of it? Seems like great knife, but there are so few photos of it out there and few seem to discuss it.

I'll post over the weekend. Don't have access to a camera here in CO. The weight is good. Seems like a great do anything knife. I was also considering the dayhiker until I saw it in person. Just a lot bigger than I thought it would be. The aqua is about the perfect size for me.

The dayhiker seems cool too, though recurves would be a pain to sharpen. The Aqua Salt seems like a great knife. Good size, won't rust ever, sharp, good grip, highly visible if yellow handled, good sheath, price is good too.

On a side note, every time I see pictures of the knife, the handle material looks rubbery to me even though it is FRN. Is the handle hard like every other FRN handled knife they make?
