I'll drink a $100 bottle of wine.

For weeks now I’ve been looking longingly at a bottle of 1998 Rockford Basket Press Shiraz, and thinking of how I can afford to buy and drink such a beautiful bottle of wine.

Has anyone got a cunning plan that may enable me to purchase this exquisite nectar of the vine?

Purchase it as an anniversary gift for your significant other. You won't get it all, but you'll have pleasant company for drinking it.

That is a very good plan. Thank you.

That sounds about as good an idea as I have heard before. Too bad it wouldn't really translate to buying knives. :)

Knives no longer make her raise her eyebrows, but an expensive bottle of red that will most definitely be consumed in the near future may make life interesting.

Rick,

A true romantic? I would have said clever and/or cunning, for which I am grateful.

The bottle of wine shall be mine.
