Hi All People,

First of all, I'd like to say; I'm not a professional.

I'm thinking about making a custom sheath for my Gerber Steadfast. I'm using it outdoor purposes only, no urban use or carry. This may sound crazy but also I'm thinking about making the front back of the knife sharp too and ready for cutting; so full front and front half of the back will be sharp.

Thus, I have not decide yet the alignment of the sheath. Of course I'll use leather for sheath and I'll carry it on my belt. But for the alignment of the sheath; vertical, horizontal, 10 degrees of angle or something else- I don't know. Any ideas ?

Could you please share your suggestions ? Thanks a lot...

I'm not sure what a Gerber Steadfast is, do you have a picture?

This is one of a Gerber Steadfast. But this pic is not mine, because a friend is working on the handle right now. I just found this pic on the net.
