A few days ago, I was walking my son to school. We saw this giant hornet on the side of the road. I took a picture of it, while it was still barely alive, next to my house key.

After school it was still there, so I kept it. Now it is dead in a jar.
Here's a picture of it next to my BK14 so you can see it's size, incase the key wasn't enough, and to include some Becker content. It curled up after it died.

I'd like to preserve it somehow. But we'll see how that goes.
According to wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Japanese_giant_hornet), the Japanese Giant Hornet is the most lethal animal in Japan. There are also some pretty interesting videos of them on youtube.
