ill try again. sorry for that ''wote'' thing,im from norway and my english is a bit rusty.

it's the bladeforums members top 3 brands of knives im looking for.

my list is:

1 busse

2 fallkniven

3 fehrman

still, many understood what i meant, probably an iq thing.;)

I think a lot of people understood you, but were being sarcastic because the concept of rating a "bladeforums top 3" is pretty foolish. It would be more productive to make a thread asking for sebenza vs strider or why edge pro's suck why they rock, etc. I don't see a need to such a thread let alone two. That being said, this is general knife discussion and this would fall under that category.

If you go by posts in the Manufacturor's forums it's Busse, HI and Spyderco as the top three, with ESEE and Buck close behind.

Some of those forums encourage off-topic posts that aren't really about the knives.

My favorites that I do buy:

Benchmade
Spyderco
ESEE

Ones I would buy if I was willing to spend more than $100 on a blade:

1. Busse
2. Snody
3. CRK

...sorry for that ''wote'' thing,im from norway and my english is a bit rusty...

Hey TPA, don't take me seriously about "wote". I like to take "typos" and make a joke about them. I knew what you meant, and was just having a little fun with you. Your English is fine, better than some native speakers i know.;)

My favorite production brands:

1) Benchmade
2) Spyderco
3) Victorinox

My favorite knives (at this time):

1) Hinderer XM-18 3.5"
2) CRK Large Classic Sebenza
3) ZT 0200

English is a hard second language. I understand the question, so I'll answer.

Brands:
1) Benchmade
2) Spyderco
3) Leatherman (knives in multitools)

Here are the brands that I own the most of and specifically collect:

1) Schrade-USA Old Timers

2) Bruckmann

3) Nothing specific. Case? AG Russell? Victorinox?

Kershaw, Case and Spyderco... If my economic status improved slightly Klotzli would be in there.

The best Three Brands are the three that I'm carrying that day. :D

It's too hard to choose only three or even say a brand is one, two or three, when there so many Brands that I enjoy carrying. :)
For example I enjoy carrying and using a Kershaw Junkyard Dog II as much as a Chris Reeve Umnumzaan or a Buck 110 420HC.
They are all great knives in their own way. What's not to like?
BTW I always carry a slip joint or two also. :)
