Unless some law was passed in a sneaky fashion in the past couple of years, Balisongs are
not illegal in Maryland, although it is the basic Law Enforcement theme to bust people that carry them in Maryland.
You can buy them, sell them, all of that, the carry part is "iffy."
As for the little gun remark, wake up and smell the coffee...the same people that are after the guns are after the knives and for the same reason.
They don't want to deal with the Criminal Element.
You can turn every Gun Control Argument or "Talking Point" on knives with consistency, and they are actively doing it. Right now in California, because Gang Bangers like cheap, "flickable" knives, they are thinking of banning them ALL.
Same thing with guns.
They don't care that YOU are not a criminal and that YOU are responsible.
All they care about is banning things.
You don't have to "like" guns, but you do have to open your eyes and support all freedoms.
The freedoms we have in this country, the Rights we all enjoy as Americans, is not a Buffet Table that you can pick and choose what you like and what you do not.
Think guns should be banned? Think people don't have a "NEED" for guns, eh?
Same argument they are using against Balisongs and other knives.
You don't "NEED" them and they are going to save you and everyone else from your stupid little desires.
