MINE! :thumbup: picked on up today, took er home, sanded down the haft with 600 thru 4000 grit wet/dry 3M paper, treated it with about 10 coats of Tung Oil and finished it off with a beeswax and tung oil polish with 0000 steel wool.

next ont he list is a honing of the edge with the ax stone and then its off to the woods.(i offer traditional tree felling using axes and handsaw).

It is a beautiful felling ax. It is so balanced in my hands. Just like my Dad's old 1961 Hardys double bit.

the steel is musical, the ring is crystal clear and clean sounding, beautiful steel.
