Iltis Oxhead hatchet

I ordered this hatchet thru the Lee Valley special orders department a couple weeks ago & was told there would be a wait of 12 to 16 weeks.I hope it will be worth the wait.Anyone have one of these?I first saw one at the Traditional Woodworker web site.The full polish head is one & a quarter pounds with a 15 inch handle.I have used the full size oxheads for many years with no complaints.
 
Traditional seems to have them in stock, so I'm curious as to why would you order from LV and wait 3-4 months?

I don't recall much discussion about Oxhead around here but what I have read has been all positive, so odds are I think you'll like it. They have an all-steel version that's got me thinking hard. A little heavier, but the extra weight makes a noticeable difference, especially when splitting.

I'm in Canada & they told me that they no longer ship here.
 
OK, now I remember that other thread. Thought this sounded familiar... I hope you'll let us know what you think after it arrives.
