I'm 16 and live in San Jose. Does anyone know the local knife ordinances for San Jose. Like length limit, minimum age requirements, (like a minor conceal carrying). Also, can i carry a mora robust openly and legally? Also, can someone please clarify what knives are ILLEGAL in CA, because I don't want to be hiking or camping and then have my piece confiscated.

First, don't hijack threads with your personal questions that are marginally related but technically off topic. Start a new thread.

San Jose has no knife laws (http://www.amlegal.com/library/ca/sanjose.shtml).

Follow California state laws as normal. Those laws are as follows:
There are no age limit laws. They are a myth in most of the United States, likely propagated by stores that refuse to sell to minors for personal reasons, but lie to the customers claiming there is a law. There is no such thing.

Folding knives of any length may be carried, concealed or openly. This includes knives with thumb-studs and assisted opening knives (which are different from switchblades in that they have no switch)

Switchblades and butterfly knives are illegal to carry in any manner, openly or concealed, unless the blade is less than 2 inches long. The sale of switchblades/butterfly knives longer than this is also illegal.

Fixed blade knives of any size may be carried so long as they are carried openly in a belt sheath. The object must be easily recognizable as a knife by a regular person on the street to be considered open carry.

That's pretty much it. Only area of CA that has tighter knife laws is Los Angeles.

Actually, there are a number of cities and some counties that have their own knife laws that
are layered on top of the state laws.
True, though on close examination most of them don't actually do anything unless you are breaking another law. I recall (though forget specifics) a surprising number of large cities in CA have nearly identical statutes about knives that only apply when getting into street fights or loitering either in public or in bars. Stockton being an example.

What are the laws here? I thought it was the standard California ones.

I tried reading up on the San Fran Muni Codes and what I found is that knives are illegal in parks, but there are no laws on length or carry. Maybe there are some county laws I am overlooking.

WeBeKnives on Pier 39 sells Microtech, Protech, and Benchmade autos. They say that they are for LEO only, but the will sell anyone them.

It's been a while since I looked at SF regulations, but my recollection is that a knife over 3 inches is considered a deadly weapon and you are prohibited from having a deadly weapon if you are loitering, etc. Not an outright prohibition, but enough to create a problem if you are considered suspicious.

yep, san francisco's 3" law applies only if youre loitering... i believe the law was originally written to keep bums from carrying anything larger than a 3" blade ;)
