Today I went to the Post Office to mail somethings and afterwards ended up at the local Knife shop inside the Mall (They're a block from each other). Checked out a bunch of knives, including the SOG Tigershark. That knife hasn't really applead to me in the past, but after holding it for a few minutes, that has changed.

Wow!!!! That is a sweet knife! :D I can see why so many of you like it so much. The knife feels really good in my hands and the one I checked out was scary sharp out of the box. :D. It's one impressive knife. I also got a change to handle the SEAL 2000 and SEAL Pup while I was there. Those two are also really cool. According to the sales rep, the SEAL 2000 and Pup are really good sellers for them, along with the Field pup and Desert dagger, both of which were out of stock. lol (I have those two so I didn't need to try them out ;) ).

The SEAL series is now on my list of SOGs to get! Oh yeah!!! :D :D

Heber ! Are you sure it's that nice ? Are you sure you need it ? O.K., you can get one if you really like it and need it, this is the strict criteria I use when trying to decide on buying a SOG.
I know, I am pretty tough on myself  , but if I was not strict, I would own 10 of each model of SOGs. :p

LOL! You DO own about 10 of each... ;)

Where have you been ?, Heber and I have been covered up with questions :p , and we heard you was in jamaica, laying in the sun ! :D

We was so busy, we finally just give up on trying to answer them all and logged off !

OK, maybe not too busy but a little.

Well OK then, we had one question, and it was about Hebers tuna cassarole. :D

Robbie Roberson :)

Robbie, I might not "need" to have any of the SEAL knives, but I sure would love to have them. Besides, I don't have every SOG Fixed blade yet. ;) :D hee hee hee!

And what's this talk of Tuna Cassarol? I think you're putting words into my mouth again! :p

Hey Rob, what you been up to lately? Ain't seen you around these parts in a while. :p

Tuna cassarole.......No way you could think of to use a SOG on it, Ha Ha  :p :D Cause it don't need to be sliced !

If you call Test driving an american hot rod being busy, then I want your job. ;) :p hee hee hee

Now, if I could just get my hands on a Tigershark... :D

Heber, Heber, Heber,

it's like you've never read ANYTHING here at SOG Forum about the Tigershark being an incredible knife.... you've been spending too much time worrying over the stewpot and (obviously) not enough time getting educated about and messin' with SOG fixed blades.

So now you know.... finally. The Tigershark is everything (and more) that you wish those kuk thingies could be.

There are, however, two problems concerning the Tigershark: 1) not having one; 2) not using it.

Cheers,

Carl

Carl, up untill the other day, the TigerShark didn't apeal to me that much. In the pictures, it looked almost over sized and akward, while still fasinated me a little. But after handling it, I see that I was wrong all along. It's not over sized and akward, It's hefty but not heavy, pretty quick and balencese really well for a chopper. So you see, I went from an Unbeliever to a believer in a matter of about 40 minutes! :D Hope my unbelief can be forgiven. :p

Heber

Heber, I think with that knife, you could make one swipe and cut a turkey in half !

Or a ham !

Or a roast !

Just think how cool you would look with this thing strapped on your belt !

 In a sheath please!!!! :o :(

I wouldn't dream of strapping that Monster on with out a sheath. And after I get one, it will be a custom leather sheath. ;) :D

I can't even believe Robbie said something like that, "...cut a turkey..."

why, that implies "use" and here all this time he's been tellin' us that using a knife is horrible thing to do !!
unless of course "using" actually means "polishing" .....

So Cheers to Robbie and Heber !!
Heber learns the Tigershark is indeed as awesome as I think it is.....
Robbie is maybe learning that "use" isn't just "polishing" .......

What a great day this is !!

Cheers,

Carl

p.s. I can tell you from experience, you will look cool with the Tigershark on your belt.
p.p.s I don't look cool with the Tigershark on my belt because engineers, by definition, are never "cool" ....
