Got my first Busse last night. I'm now a changed man, the ash 1 is a whopping beast of a knife which instills confidence in ones self. I'm not top bad at sharpening but this was easy about 15 min of work and it peels hair off my arm. Also at .33 thick it cuts well and better then thinner knives that I own. Thank you Busse forums of convincing me to spend the money to get one. I think I will write a full review later down the road.
 
Sweet score, man. That is one I have been drooling over since I discovered Busse. Congrats on the awesome blade! :D

Congrats on your ASH Sig! It won't be your last Busse - trust me on that
 
Its real hard to own anything else after your first Busse :) Its just one knife that you can count on for what ever comes your way....
 
Ash1CG is a nice one too!

I had one a while ago. I sold it for some ThinInif, but wish I still had it!

I firmly believe that one of the Ash1CG's (perhaps with a 2/3 nuclear top edge) would be the ultimate in combat knives. Do anything, take any abuse!

Seems like yesterday, I wrote my first thread...................There can be only one....................... looking for advice on this forum, yep........only one............Bullchit..............should have been............ There can be only a hundred, for I find myself wanting and needing more knives than I could ever use or need, much less afford to actually buy. From Zombie slaying sword's, too knives I can cut a car apart with. There should be a warning lable on these Busse/Kin knives. Congrats, I think...........on your first Busse.

A convex satin ASH-1 was my first Busse and as many mentioned above it likely won't be your last (certainly wasn't for me). Even thought I've added quite a few to my collection it is still one of my first "go-to" knives to hang on my hip when in need of a camp knife. Love its versatility.
