My son, Edric Brokk Aldridge, was born Saturday morning at 12:35 AM. He weighs 8lbs and is 20 inches long, happy, healthy and handsome. I'm as proud as a new dad can be and wanted to show him off to you guys. I'm also taking suggestions on a good first knife. I know it's a little early for that but with so many to choose from, I figure now is a good time to start thinking about it. :D

Hey man,
That is awesome. I remember being in the room when my twin boys were born. I counted their fingers and toes. I still for the life of me do not know why I did that.

It must feel good to be a parent congrats! BTW are those Emerson ear plugs you're wearing in the picture you know the one with the skull?

Congrats... Absolutely the best thing that can happen if life.
It seems like only a few years since we brought my son home, its been almost 13. Enjoy everything you can, because it does go very fast.
 
I remember the feeling well. Congratulations. Now the sleepless nights and hard work begins. Remember the most important parts of parenting are love and patience.
