Linda got a new kitten a few weeks back and I brought Trixie (the Maine Coon) here with me until we could get the new one de-flead (I've got carpet and can't handle fleas at all here because of the carpet). Anyhow, while here, Trixie Ann got real big real fast and was eating like a horse. I figured it all out after a few days. In the mean time no matter what we tried those darn fleas just wouldn't completely die off of the little one. Finally I think we got them killed. The two cats can't be together because Trixie wants to kill the little one. Ain't NO WAY I wanted Trixie dropping out a bunch of screaming kittens in my house, so the plan was to switch cats ASAP. After all these weeks we finally switched cats today at about 4:00PM. Linda just called me at about 5:00AM saying Trixie had just delivered two kittens, the first one not alive - more to come. Boy, after watching all this for weeks, that was cutting it close!!! Thirteen more hours here and I'd have them squaling their little heads off under MY bed! Partly I jest. I love the little critters. My real problem is I am not good at delivery room stuff and I worry too much about Trixie.

Anyone want any brand new never been used cats?

I better pass also. I've got this thing you see all over the floor. This is Gizmo, I rescued him from the fire ants after being abandoned by him mom. Ran down to Walmart, bought some milk and a doll baby bottle, and saved the little critter. And now look what I have, can't even get him to drink slim-fast. Just lays around the house all day waiting to be fed, some life these guys lead.

If they're Maine Coons....would love to have one....too bad I live so far away....could you just email or fax me one of them? :footinmou

Maine Coon is #2 on my cats-I-wanna-get-someday. A domesticated Bengal being #1....:D

Got space now....

Dan, they are part Maine Coon because the sumbeach (I better never find him) was no doubt some stray of unknown origin. People seem to enjoy dumping off unwanted cats in that neighborhood. Most of them seem to reside under Linda's house. I've tried to explain to her why it is not a good idea to keep putting food out for them.

She delivered three, all alive. Linda thought the first had been still born. Upon my arrival I discoved that the still born was a little stuffed critter toy!! :D :D :D Linda can't see well without glasses.

Big John,

How about three little brand new shop buddies for you? I can FedX the little critters in about 6 weeks, postage paid.

IG, ya rangy ol' Dawg! I have still have a pretty full head of hair, but yours (what you have left) would look good hanging on my teepee pole! You had us worried, haven't heard much out of you. Roger is maybe going into little shop buddy breeding, and he can send you a whole box of shop kittys to play with your skunks. I can see IG after having a bunch of brews, running down skunks and dragging them into his shop. Dang little shop rascals are kinda extra scratchy and onery tonight, IG thinks.

What are you trying to say you OLE REDSKIN????  You forget I have 3 dogs and they take care of those white and black things. Next time I get one I am going to airbrush it gray ( not Dan) and send it to you. :D

She delivered them under the bed.

Here are all three of them, all in one little ball of fur (5 days old):

They're growing like bad weeds. Life is going to be hell for us in a few more days.
