I'm a habitual tinkerer. Anyone else afflicted?

Would love to see some of your work

Check out this thread and prepare to be amazed. Here’s my favorite, a GEC 44 he rehandled for me in ironwood after I won one of his generous giveaways:

De-ancientfied my TC Ancient 2. Not sure what possessed me to do this at the time. Might have been trying to match my Ancient 1 more which I have not touched. Probably could get banished for this :( Carry this knife alot though.

Glenn is one of our most well known knife modders.
He re-handled this #76 for me with Ebony and a new shield, plus rounded off the sharp corners on the bolsters.
Thats a good looking knife! I would love to try some recover work but not sure where to learn the skills/techniques.

wow! that is stunning

I’d love to try some fluted bolsters but haven’t gotten up the nerve to try it yet.

I put some new handles on this electrician knife.

Looks like good work! I would love to do some rehandles but have no idea how to get started learning the technique. Any resources you could point me towards?

Thats some outstanding work! What tools do you use for your engraving?
I use a Lindsay Airgraver for the majority of the work.

Absolutely! Every time something doesn't quite work for me I fix it. That might be uneven grind, proud tip, locking little bit rough, adding sharpening choils, regrinding etc...
