Just picked up a Busse Game Warden, 0.200 inch thick blade, green linen micarta handle, at a PAWN SHOP of all places. Pretty sweet!:D
When do I get my Kool-Aid though?:confused:;)

If the secondary market gets any more saturated you may be finding a lot more Busse s at pawn shops. :D

Sux for the guy who pawned it. Prob. only got $80 or something for it..

For sure.
I first tried trading some of my knives for it, but it would have taken enough to make up $800 retail price to get it. Seemed the money route was a better one.
Seems at times like pawn shops thrive on the misfortune of others, but the deals can be sweet if you have the cash!
Of course, now that I have ONE, it's going to fill my head with thoughts of other, even MORE expensive Busse's.
The AK-47 springs to mind!:D

I agree. Most people pawn stuff b/c they need $ asap and disreguard what loss they are taking..

Your going to love the GW .. If not there are plenty other Busses out there.
The AK is sweet for sure. I am more of a RUCK guy though..

these are nice too ... Wonder if any Old school SJs will pop at the pawn shop. They are a bit more difficult to gauge a proper value just searching the internet...

I know that feeling --- when you see it out of the corner of your eye and think "hey, that's a BUSSE!"
 
Ack, all the pictures are making me want more!
It'll give me some incentive to get more money at least.:)
So far, I'm really digging this knife. It's a really nice carry size, and you can just tell it's quality when you pick it up.

In a PAWN SHOP:eek: I've never even seen a Busse at a show other than Blade around here.

I've got the OD/GL also, my favorite coated GW.

I'll see if I can wrangle a digital camera out of someone as a wedding gift(getting married the 21st of this month:)).
My jaw DROPPED when I saw it there; there was no way I expected to see something like that in a place like that.
They only had one other good knife, which was a neck knife custom made by someone or other(said "Stone" on the blade); everything else was crap that attracts idiots(you know, the fantasy blades and "mystery steel" knives from China:thumbdn:).
