according to my brother, who is a hardcore nerd and I would have to agree with him. I guess due to my upbringing I never experienced the whole "being cool" or staying true to a single adolescent cliques. On one hand I love doing anything associated with outdoors, knives, a little whittling, guns, etc... and on the other I'm a huge anime buff and gamer. Some days I like to spend the days up in the woods and let my mountain man out, but usually more in the winter. Other days I will spend the whole day playing games like BF4, GTAV, Far Cry 3, Minecraft, etc... and watching anime like Black Lagoon, Phantom, Attack on Titan, Fate/Zero etc... It's just awesome really, the best of both worlds.

I'm in pretty much the same category myself. Fishing/hunting/guns/knives/yes. I don't get too into anime much anymore although I do still love the classics like Samurai X, Akira, Ghost in the Shell, etc. And Shin Chan is one of the best shows ever. I'm a total Gears of War nerd. Also love Skyrim, Fallout and a few others.

I like what I like and do what I do. My day can involve nerding out, doing heavy labor, or suiting up. There is no need to fit into any particular stereotype role.
