I'm a new member, help with Forum rules

Hello, I just registered in this forum but before I post more I want to know about the forum rules. Is there a place for formal introductions? I'm a hobbist blade maker (japanese style), where should I post my work? I want to ask since I got severely flamed out in another blades forum because they think I posted fake stuff, disrespected in such way in the very first post, I won't go back to that site. I have many questions to ask, a few answers to give (specially eletroetching), and mainly I want to interact with fellow people doing blades and their mounts, with the best humanity and respect as possible.

Welcome to Blade Forums. This is just one of many sub forums you may come to enjoy. There are forum rules and for some they may be too many, but they all serve a useful purpose.

To discuss techniques, go to Shop Talk - BladeSmith Questions and Answers

We do have a lot of rules and procedures. It is a good idea to browse them as soon as possible.

Thank you guys for the warm welcome! I'll read all the rules before posting my stuff, which basically are blades I have done myself as a hobby, but first, I'll introduce myself correctly.
