why are all my favorites on the special order list ?
i know you cant eat candy for every meal, but hell, this is a candy store, aint it ?
 
Danny...you don't want "candy", you want those hand molded and hand dipped one at a time pieces of heaven...
 
That's a cool list Danny. I can't relate though, because I like mine stamped out by the ten's of thousands, you know, one just like another? In fact, I like them best of all when I pull them off a pile of trash, or maybe while dumpster diving happen to find one. There's nothing like finding a well used common blade right next to an almost warm BiG Mac, know what I mean?

IN actual life, I think your list is neat. I wish I had that stuff. I kinda wonder why I don't.

the foxy folly and ycs have eluded my grasp so far.
and frankly, im begging for change to buy lunch this month, so id better not buy anything else for a while, but that is my favorites list.

i guess my question is, Why arent these tasty pieces on the regular menu?

Danny if I'm not mistaken you can prepay for a Foxy Folly. There have been a few come through as blems that have all seemed to go for $99.00. It may be taking a chance but if it was me and I wanted one I would send Bill a hundred dollar bill and tell him the next one that comes through is mine.;)
I'm still lusting after a 17"-18" Foxy Folly and think it would be the ideal khuk. Maybe if Bill felt better he would order one scaled down like he did the BDCs. Looks like if you can get one you oughta be able to get the other.:rolleyes: :(
 
Those are all beauties. I thought Foxy's Folly was a work of art from the start. YCS is probably my favorite special order knife.

Having 2 kids means I get to buy things with whatever is left after the wife and the 2 kids, which means that at least I get to look at the pics! ha.
 
I didn't think you could order a YCS anymore :confused:
 
I'm with you Danny! :cool: I have yet to find a HI special that hasn,t called to me. Especially all of the ones with fullers, constant curve spines, and deeeep bellies! :eek:
Falcata, YCS, Foxys Folly, Berk Special, BNM 10", BNM 14", Kerambit. Some of my favorite fondling gems. :rolleyes:
HI, sure has a line of addictive wares! At least to me.
 
I'm still kicking myself for not getting a Reti when I had the chance. I'm just too cheap (I think they were only $75 though). I mainly just didn't like the Kobra style buttcap.
 
here here! got's one of the older ones as a third owner, and it came home to me. It is the classic big-belly khuk.

mmmm...fergot about the coveted Berk special! Yum!

Is the UBE still offered? Those look sweet too.

I also like the HI seax...
