Man I can't believe it - I got a freakin blister! :jerkit: :o First time I've cut or ground any knife steel in a year and a half, and I'm officially a soft-handed wimp with a sore thumb. Sheesh.

Sure feels good though... :D

Coat the end of your digits with crazy glue. I used to do it on my fret hand when I played a lot more guitar. Instant callous (sp?). And yes, you are a wuss. Not grinding any steel in a year and a half? Better add slacker to that description.:D
 
ive always had soft or semi soft hands no matter how much work i do. and i used to be a plumber. just buy some of them mechanics gloves or i like the fox brand bike riding gloves like you use for BMX. i think another reason why i hardly ever get blisters is because i have tough hands. that and i never notice blisters. but yes you are a wuss cause you complained about them. HEHEHEHE!!! :D:D:D :eek: :eek:
 
Y'all are so helpful... :D My blister healed, but I cut it anyway. After a long weekend in the yard running around like a crazy person trying to get all the "assignments" done, my hands are in fine shape. Really! :D I don't know how many holes I dug this weekend, but a lot. Can't wait to get back in the shop, and yes, wearing gloves!

I got six blades profiled before I had to go do my domestic stuff; they're calling, calling me...

Hope I have enough belts. ;)
