I'm an uncle!!!

This morning at 10:40AM my brother and his wife brought into this world Kyle Leonard. He weighed in at 6lbs, 8oz. and measured 18.5 inches. He is in NICU due to being a month early but he is expected to do well. This is their first child and I'm happy for the both of them. My girls are excited that they have a new cousin to play with.

Congrats Uncle, now if the baby had been a girl you would have been an aunt. My mom told my aunt when I was a baby that the gender of the baby determines whether it has aunts or uncles... I grew up calling her Uncle Sally. Now it is just an inside joke... my mom can be funny

My SIL and BIL picked up Ellie Kerkstra in China yesterday. We got a web cam picture this morning..!!!!
