Manifested inspiration!! From one awesome gentleman to another!! Thanks for sharing the Joy!

Duane is most definitely an inspiration.

Now, are the coins for you to send back to "pay" for the knives so as to not sever the relationship? I've thought that on the forum GAW's it could be "pay it forward" to the next guy..........hmmmmm.

Great mod on that Svord, by the way.

I love the entire bfc forum and community but I'm especially fond of the traditional forum, reminds me of the kind of place my Old Man would have hung out. Great people, generous, caring people. The kind of people who stop for someone broke down on the road, open doors not just for women but for everybody.

The kind of generous people who always give to people who have less and are willing to sit and listen to your problems or your accomplishments.

A toast to the traditional forum and the people on our porch (for those of you who don't drink, it's too early where you are or are too young, I to my coffee to you)

ETA congrats on the win rinos and thanks for the generous GAW Sitflyer.

Hey Rino, You are so very welcome...
Thank You! for all that you bring here and share with us
Happy Holidays my friend :)

very nice gesture!

That is how I was indoctrinated into the traditional forum. A gifted knife by a generous member hooked me!

Yeah, that's how it really works. You think their being generous, you know, like that guy at the school yard who says, "Here kid. Try these pills for free. They make you feel great." Then you're hooked and jonesing to buy your next traditional knife, then the next, and....

Don't think you're the only victim of these insidious actions though. Odds are someone got the gifter started as well. So giving away a knife or three not only gets another guy or gal hooked so they aren't alone in their misery, it also clears up a few spaces in the collection of the person gifting that must be filled. Now they have what is to them a perfectly rational excuse to go out and get more knives. :D

Joking aside, sort of, a great thing all around. Good on both of you. That seems to be part of what makes the Traditional folder what it is. An ongoing tradition that in itself fits with the history of the people who carried these knives daily.

A tip of the hat to your generosity Duane.

Rinos, I hope you enjoy these fine gifts.

All the best
