TexasTony and I Just got back from spending an extended weekend with LupaWolf and GhostWolf from Twowolvesoutdoors and a fantastic group of folks from over at survival.com.

For those of you who don't know, that's Ron and Karen Hood's website and forum.

Truly an amazing group of people, quite a few great custom knifemakers and a very comfortable atmosphere. These folks are starting to feel like family to the Mrs. and I.

But I digress. If you sent me one of the 7468 PM's and e-mails I recieved over the weekend, I will be responding in order of importance and then in the order they were recieved.

Tony, being the lazy bum that he is, took the entire week off so if you needed something from him that I could handle, let me know.

:o we didn't take any. the camera was in my bag the whole time. :o we'll have to use the ones i stole from David.

We did have a fabulous time! Lupawolf and Ghostwolf throw one hell of a get together. You have to watch Ghostwolf though. He'll keep giving you apple cider until someone needs to escort you to your tent b/c he's afraid you'll get lost...............so I've heard.;)
 
Yes, Mrs Shotgunner, the cider does lead to one needing an escort back to one's bunk. It is an unfortunate side effect. But it tastes great, doesnt it?

By the way, thank you both for coming. It would not be the same without you.

Glad you guys had a good time. The Hoods and their folks are some of the best people you can find!
 
Ahhhhh ha! SO that was the camping you all were talking about last week Mrs! Glad you and the Mr had a wonderful time.... :)
 
Glad you and Katie had a good time. You guys are fast becoming family and we miss yous guys already. You both had me laughing most of the time out there. Enjoyed the hike with Mike even if we didn't come back with a pig. ;)
Can't wait to see ya again. Also, TxTony and his family are welcome in our camp ANYTIME. :thumbup:

I still need one of Mike's kick a$$ Izula and RC-3 sheaths. Just let me know how much.

Did I mention we won't be bringing the kids? :D

and yes the beav had LOADS of fun. she enjoyed her new found freedom of wandering from campsite to campsite since we knew everyone there. AND i wasn't watching them chop the firewood. We were eating breakfast! that's their problem they didn't stop to enjoy the food!

Hey wheres the pics of Swede in the coconut bra? It WAS made using an izula!
