We slept in our old new trailer last night. Recruited the Nepali shipping staff to assist with the move and as a result today I cannot find anything. I don't know if I ever will again.

The phone company screwed up and I've been dealing with them all Am to get things fixed right. They had me connected to two lines simultaneously.

I am still digging out so bear with me.

Stay tuned!

Now back to the junk pile to see if I can dig myself out -- ha!

Look on the bright side: you found the trailer.

Was the Nepali shipping staff conscripted or recruited?

How has Chokpa recovered frome her accident?

Just as long as you don't misplace the khukuris everyone here will be happy.

NEPAL HO!

Easy now Mohd. If Unc still hasn't found his medications, we don't need him acting odd *and* wearing a sarong. To get back out of the State Mental Health hospital he'd have to convince some pretty sceptical people he was sane...

Or, come to think of it, he might instead get offered some interesting propositions...

Khukuri FAQ

Uncle,

As long as the bed and the refrigerator are moved and set up, you have all that most of us really need anyway

I was wondering if you got an accurate count of the khukuri collection under the bed.

Also, perhaps you could give us a first-hand description of the effect of dust-bunnies on zone hardened spring steel.

Khukuris under the bed went in separate boxes and are safe. They seemed to have survived the dust bunnies in pretty good shape. Now they will have a new hoard to worry about.

Rog, that's what we did. Got the bed set up and the kitchen up and running. Kitchen is in operation but I can't find most things. I did find my jeans, though. They were in a box Vikash had stuck at the bottom of a stack of boxes in the end of the closet. They are now hanging on hangers where I can see them.

But where the hell did Chokpa put my socks????!!!!!

Bill, I moved three years ago and still just
have a path in the middle of a 2 1/2 car
garage, ha ha may never find anything. When
I go out to clean it up, I get sick and go
back in the house. So I relate Bro.

Uncle Bill, if you found your jeans already you're doing well! The last time I moved, I stowed some articles of clothing in a garment bag and forgot all about them. Discoverd them one year later when I was packing for a trip. (Did wonder a bit why I seemed to have fewer handkerchiefs and t-shirts than I rememnbered having...)

But the WORST experience is when some total stranger moves and YOU have problems because of it. Once I came home to find my apartment dark - the electricity had been cut off. One of my neighbors had moved, forgotten to get his electric supply stopped, and the apartment complex manager had called the electricity company to get electricity cut off to that apartment and given them MY address by mistake.
