Ok folks i am looking for a way to hang a spyderco bug ss from my neck (to be worn under the shirt) however i want to be able to pull it out with out having to take of the lanyard and ditto for putting it back. Any ideas? Im on a bit of a budget since this is being paired with my soon to be ordered sage 2 (Im very excited about this knife) but i don't expect anything to be free so what do you guys (and gals) think?

You can buy a two-piece quick release keychain for a couple of bucks almost anywhere that keys are made. String one side on a stainless beaded chain, attach the other to the Bug with a small split ring and you are set.
 
what does a leather sheath generally run? Oh yeah and my soon to be order is now Ordered!!! They will be here tommorow
 
Not sure if the ones on my Jester and car keys are the type Jack meant or not, but they work very well, only cost a couple bucks, and can be found in any hardware store. IIRC, there's also a magnetic version, that's a good bit thinner, but somewhat more expensive.

Couldn't tell ya'. Ive never ordered one, i would imagine a good neck sheath would be $20-30 which in my opinion is to much to spend on a $10 knife. Thats why if i were you i would go with the kydex, but as you can see there is a plethora of options.

Congrats on the sage 2, it's a great knife.

Yep, that's the kind I was talking about. The kind I use for the Ladybug on my keys. The kind I would have posted a picture of had my camera not chosen that moment to die.
