And I'm here for my gear follow-up, and happy that the hurricanes didn't steal any of my toys :)

Surefire A2 Aviator is one heck of a flashlight. I used it almost daily, usually on the LED for close up work but more than once on the bulb to check something out at a distance. Still on the first set of batteries, too. The pocket clip bent a little bit, so I'm gonna have to find a way to carry it in a pouch or something.

The Swamp Rat Howling Rat held up too well. I only got to use it once, to open a packet of Skittles :( But I'm gonna test it out in the woods next time I go camping, so that'll give me a better idea of how it'll work. It sure did slice into those Skittles, tho. .

BM910 - I think I rolled the tip somehow. I'm gonna have to look closer once I wake up a little bit, but it shouldn't be anything that can't be fixed.

Slumberjack sleeping bag, well, it kept me comfortable in 70 degree Alabama. Does that count?? I'm gonna try it out one night this week in the real cold and see how it does. .

That's it, really. I'm glad to be home, except for over a month's worth of email and posts on here to browse through. So I'll be buzy for a little bit.

Anytthing new in the knife world that I should know about?
