I'm back bishes. :D
But no, you probably didn't miss me.
I do see THAT pic though. SV, you're in trouble!

If my camera isn't totally hosed from the saltwater and sand I dropped
it in I'll post some pics tomorrow. It doesn't look good though, all may be lost. I can't get it to do anything and it smells like bait.
uggh. My main memory card's end looks like it sneezed. I might
have some pics from the first card though.

Fishing was good, caught a few keepers(read as eaters :D).
My little 23' boat doesn't like 25mph wind though.
Well, maybe not the boat, but I don't like it. ;)

I burned more fuel than I care say. About 125 gallons. :(

Best thing besides fishing was the place we stayed at.
Friggin Suhweet!

Penthouse #808. Very nice. ( I didn't pay, friend did )
The place has everything.

It was a very relaxing weekend. Something I needed.

Looks like you guys have been busy.
I checked in yesterday?, but lost connection because my laptop nic
was giving me grief.

Since this is the Kershaw Subforum.......
My 1259 Fillet knife did a great job this weekend cutting
up about 12 lbs of great tasting trout.

Glad you're back safe, Bro. Yeah, we missed you, but we knew there'd be some good stories for you to tell...We've been doing the usual stuff...drooling over knives, insulting each other, chatting with Ken O, wearing great new Kershaw t-shirts, more drooling over knives, insulting each other some more, you know...

Oh, and about this...
I can't get it to do anything and it smells like bait.
mike
Was Sandy with you guys all weekend? I was wondering where she went...But it's OK, I can't get it to do anything either. Clean her up and the bait smell usually goes away for a few days...

Nice to have you back!

Back? Do we know you?

Glad you're back in on piece. Sounds like a fun trip. Too bad about the camera and card though. I have heard plenty of stories about memory cards being washed, frozen in ice, or submerged for months, and still being readable. You might try rinsing/soaking it in warm distilled water. Just make sure it is completely dry before putting it in a reader.

Welcome back, Mike!

Sorry about your camera :(, but it sounds like the rest of the trip was worth it...;)

Ray :)

HA!

I have a few pics from the first card. Second card is a gone.
It won't work in my built-in reader or my portable.
It was in the camera at the time of the "saltwater dip".
Tis OK, now I gotta put knife money away for a new camera. :grumpy:
Needed one anyway.

I did almost get stingrayed on Sat. That was fun. Thought I had a firm
foot planted on his tail but noooooo. Missed me by mere inches.
I gotta a few snaps of that bastid.
The reds were really biting hard this weekend. My bro caught one keeper.
I don't remember if we tagged any...:p
The speck trout we caught were all around 22".
I know from past trips that they will be more plentiful in the coming weeks.
So, I'm going again the first week of May.

I missed "knife talk" though. I was having DT's. :D

Thank goodness you're back...finally a voice of reason around here...wait...

Thomas, there is NO voice of reason. although mike is prolly the closest we have to one. the "motavational" thread is proof that it only got nuttier here when he was gone............as sad as that is.......

Mike? Voice of Reason?
Nooooo they don't mix.
:D
And you were abusing your power earlier Glockman! Like anyone's gonna give you that special title!

JK
:p

Voice of reason!?! That's pretty far fetched for anyone that frequents here. :D

This pic is the ray that almost got me. He was hungry too.

Here's my little boat I have stored down at the coast.

We didn't spend all of our time fishing.;) Amy is on the left, Shannon on the right.
They talked it up for about 20 min. before swaying off down the beach.

Glad you had a good trip Mike!! Sell the rayskin for knife handles and buy a new camera with the proceeds;)

Jon
