I'm back online; some pics from today in the swamp

Hey guys, I've finally got DSL at the camp. Being that I'm living down here full time, I haven't been posting in a while. So I thought I would share some pics from a little boat ride in the swamp this afternoon. This is literally my back yard now. Did I mention I love spring?

Early afternoon moon.

Mix of winter and spring colors.

Ospreys have showed up and started nesting.

One healthy gator, that's what. I guess I wasn't the only one enjoying the warm sunshine.

Gear pic! I have a complete kit on the boat, but I had this stuff on me.

Really could get by with just this.

Yep. Sweet little knife. Rides unnoticeable on the belt. I haven't had it very long, but so far I'm digging it. The little bit of coating on the blade didn't last long, but that is a good thing to me.

I saw those! That'll make a dandy little belt knife. I plan on carrying this one neck carry without the scales and in the kydex sheath some, and I picked up one of the "Adirondack" pocket sheaths too. If I were carrying it on my belt all the time, I would go for the longer blade for sure.

I probably will. This is going to be around a lot of saltwater, and Bark River's 12C27 seems to do good in that environment.
