Who can name the singer?

Well, it was interesting to say the least. Dry, hot (but not as hot as it could have been), everything had teeth and everything that could go wrong, did...but, I found another Busse admirer from Oz! He wants and he wants bad! I had to hide the SH-E from him in the end....:D

Below are some pics, but, the camera is still having some problems so I hope my 35mm ones came out better.

Pic 1. - 'flat nothingness'....this is an overview shot of the "PILBARRA". Western Australian desert, I guess.
 
Pic 2. - 'Hard ass creeks'. You can not tell it from the photo, but these creeks were so damn abrupt they nearly broke the fourby in two! You had to take them slow and carefully.
 
Pic 3. - 'Billabong Busse'. A general pic of what the bong was like. It is the only spot in the river that held water and the system usually only opens every two years or so. When driving there, you could see smaller tree trunks 20' up in the branches of other trees, and that was 1/2 a mile from the actual river bed! This place floods like you would not believe!!!
 
Pic 4. - 'Bow Diddley Squat'. Or Bow for short...:D ...she kept the hungry dingos away from camp and nibbling on my toes, well, she let you know when they were near to camp anyhoo. The best guard dog a man can have - a Jacky!
 
Pic 5. - 'Busse fire'. A fire fit for a king, courtesy of Team Busse!;) Again, the SH-E cut, chopped, dug and got fondled better than anything else on the trip!:D I love this knife!....and apparently, so did my mate.:grumpy:
 
Pic 6. - 'Ouch my freakin bloody sore thumping head!'. Yes, my Turkey is gone, but I see me old mate Kev did not finish his scotch...These older fellas find it hard to keep up:D ....

All in all, a great trip...I wish I had not left my fly rod back at the hotel leaning on the hire car.:grumpy: ...there were Tarpon jumping everywhere in that damn Billabong....Oh well, just means I have to go back I guess. Oh yeah, the AS went also, although worked very hard in the background - opening cans and things, she ate everything in sight...
 
thx guy's....no trout there uncle, just big, man eating Tarpon, Barramundi and Magrove Jack. Oh yeah, and big catfish too.

Welcome back and thanks for the Great Pics. I'd love to go to Australia sometime, with these pics I guess I can at least dream ;):D:D
 
Hey Eric! Come over anytime! I will put you and your family up in town and while the gals shop, we can go bush! It's a lot thicker here though than over there...

Not much happened while you were gone. Jerry announced and released the folder, we sold about a thousand of them and quickly ran out. Sorry man, I told Eric to save one for you but I think he put it in his safety deposit box to keep for his grand kids. ;)

I have an idea, you buy a bunch of Busses, have them shipped to me and then instead of paying shipping I'll just bring them along. Problem is that it might take me several years to save up enough to come over, don't worry though I'll take good care of your knives in the meantime. ;):D:D:D
 
Great pics Guy. I apparently own the twin brother to that bottle of Wild Turkey. My bottle must be broken also, as it appears as though all of the whiksey has "leaked" out of mine as well. !!!:eek: :eek: :confused:

Marsupeeeeial - yeah, I felt like somebody that had stolen the SH and was travelling around the world taking snapshots, and then sending them back to their owner.:D

So, anybody missing a SH?:eek:
