In my youth, I picked up an old cold steel Vietnam tomahawk. Something possessed me to cut off the spike and it sat idol for a great many years in my parents barn.
I recently reclaimed the old girl and decided to give her a new lease on life.
I fired up my forge and hammered out a new spike. (I apologize in advance as I have no pics of the spikeless hawk or its forged spike prior to instalation.) I fired up my welder and put my ancient sin to rest by making my hawk whole again.
A spackle of paint later and here are the results.
(Warning! Pics taken with a gopro.)
