Greetings to All,

I apologize for being so long away from the forums. I have been on the road for almost all of July and then went right into video shooting for 2 weeks (more on this in the next post).

Emerson Knives is having a banner year. It will be the biggest in the history of this company. At this years end we will have built and shipped 50% more knives than last year. It’s amazing what differences a few personnel changes can make. We are in the process of purchasing 2 CNC Grinding machines to replace the current Bergers that we are currently using. This will make a huge difference for us as the CNC machines will literally quadruple our capacity.

The thing that I find completely amazing is that we do not advertise. I only have one ad running in Blade Magazine and that’s for the Anniversary HD-7. There are two things I wonder – how many knives would people order if we did advertise and how much money do the other knife companies spend on advertising? I see some companies’ ads in virtually every industry related magazine I pick up. I guess Emerson Knives is in a very lucky position.

Anyway, we are sending out CQC-11’s, Commanders, and Azek Maruds (Yes, I still have some HMMV-K’s left to deliver) and the response has been very positive, to say the least. All varieties of Karambits will be ready around Mid-August and HD-7’s will be coming up and ready to start delivery around the 1st of August – the Comrade M.F.’s will be right behind.

This has been a Rockin Summer – See the next posts for more.

Mr. Emerson, when you build the BEST, they sell themselves. Keep on kicking ass:)

Mr Emerson , just keep an old machine to produce any kind but left handed models only.

Hi, mmh, I am very happy that Emerson knives are running so good, because I love that knives. I am waiting for the new models, because I am a member of the german knife magazine and I want to test them...

Ok, Mr. Emerson, I am ready for testknives...

Best wishes

Are we going to see a good website update? I'm talking filling in all the "coming soon pictures," opening the weapons site, and I love to look at the way you see it some more.

Jeepers, how do you mean the best?

I think it's called an opinion

Best, IMHO, means the best combination of blade design, handle ergonomics, solid construction, no-frills, takes a beating and asks for more toughness. Only my personal experience, but I have a lot of production knives, and EKI are the BEST bang for the buck:)
