Hello all...been a long time since I've been on this forum, I sold off all my Chris Reeves knives years ago so never came back.

I've had three Sebenza's in the past and loved them, wasnt afraid to use them due to their costs, I was afraid of them turning up lost due to their costs,

The thought of losing a 4-500 dollar knife just doesnt give me that warm fuzzy feeling if ya know what I mean.

Well I deceided I couldn't live without one any longer so after 5+yrs without one... I just oredred a large Native American model. I thought maybe I'll just carry it in the pocket sheath where it may be safe.

Really looking forward to receiving it :D Of all my folders the Sebenza really was the best of the bunch. This time though I'm thinking of send it to CRK's and have my name engraved on the back...might just make me keep this one.

If you use a belt, you might consider using a Chris Reeve belt sheath instead of a pocket sheath. I have a couple Chris Reeve belt sheaths for my small and large Sebenza knives - the black one for the large and a brown one for the small. I know that they are adjustable for either size knife but I just wanted to get both color sheaths.:)

I know what you mean about losing a big bucks knife but I try my best to be careful and *remember* to put it back where it belongs when I am done using it. I don't like to use pocket clips so that's why I end up using a belt sheath to minimize the chance in loosing any of my knives.

Ive thought about those...seen the pics but never held one, does the leather cover the snap on the inside, or maybe a piece of felt...

Right after I read your post I checked out the belt sheath. The case maker glued a piece of durable protective material over the metal snaps inside the sheath and they did a great job of it. My knife is well protected inside this sheath.
