Leatherman is right on the money. I use Sno-Seal which has a beeswax base as well. Heat up the leather with a hair dryer, apply Sno-Seal, and reapply heat as needed. The pores in the leather suck up the protectant, and it darkens the leather to a nice color. Hey JJ, it looks like a oil or conditioner. When I made the sheaths I used Fiebings "Aussie Leather Conditioner" which, for some reason, doesnt darken the leather much if any. Its a oil/beeswax mixture and it smells fantastic!![]()
