After getting a belt sander for my birthday, I decided to make a working sheath knife of my own. It's 5/32" 1095, and there will be bloodwood handles with 3 hollow copper pins, the grind is convex, with a slight swedge. 24 inch gauge in the background for scale.
No sharp angles anywhere, and it feels good enough that I could almost forgo the grips. HT is going to be tonight over a charcoal fire, tempered to RC 60 with a dry ice cryogenic quench.
What do you think, O keepers of the Folksy?
