I'm extremely excited! I will be ordering an Izula-II in a few days! I'm hoping to also order a pocket sheath or horizontal carry sheath from Double Barrel Sheaths or Red Hill Sheaths! Hopefully, I can write a review of it soon after receiving it. My only questions are: Which online store will sell one for the lowest price (including the kit)? Who might I get custom handle scales from in the future? Also, which other companies sell (online) Izula sheaths that are of high quality?

Thanks for your advice!

Cutlery,

Lowest prices, you can check the Knife Center and Knives Ship Free, I know they sell ESEE. There are a number of other places. Use your google-fu Cutlery san and open up a txt doc to keep track of what sellers are offering what prices.

T-K-C is working on custom scales for the entire ESEE line. He will get there eventually. If I understand correctly there are people here on the boards who you can send your blade in to for custom slabs. Or you can do your own. I'm in the process of making slabs for my Izy. I'm easily over 20hrs in and its getting close just needing to get some buffing done really and maybe a little bit more radiusing on the one slab. It's a great deal of fun, wonderful little project I'd highly recommend.

Other good Izy sheathes. Knives Ship Free offers a nice little leather sheath that fits Izula's and Brovo Neckers. It looks to be a small, simple, and functional design.

Hope that helps some.

God bless,
Adam

CM62, I did the same thing as jumpmonkey suggested. I looked online at all the dealers that carried ESEE knives from ESEE's website (I know, I know, waaaaay too much time on my hands), & found most of them were within $8 to $15 of each other. By chance, I called Howe's Knife Shop & spoke with Jim. Since this was going to be my first ESEE knife & I was straying from my comfort zone with my usual knife maker, I was a little "uneasy". By the time Jim & I finished our 85 minute talk, I knew I had made the right choice. Super service (ordered on Friday afternoon, at my post office Monday morning), excellent prices, & great knowledge of knives in general. I am placing my next ESEE order this week with him & feel this will be an ongoing situation. If you call him, tell him Bill & Sally in Ohio said hello.
Be safe.

Dale at The Knife Connection has the custom scales available on his site for the ESEE 4. He is still working on scales for the 3.

I ordered an Izula II, ESEE 3 in desert tan, and a set of orange G10 scales for my RC-4 yesterday.

I'll let you know how the scales work out.

Just got the email from Dale that my order has shipped. Should see the Izzy II by Friday!!!!

I got my e-mail from Dale a day ago. But when I clicked on the tracking link, it said the order was on hold? Try yours and see if it says the same? I hope there is no probs? I was thinking I would be holding the lil thing in a day or two. edgy.
