The name stirs up imagery from a William Gibson novel... corporate assassins and urban Yakuza.

This one is 3/16" O1 with a zero bevel tip. I already have another started in 1084 with a blade catcher guard.

Gotta love old school Gibson. If you haven't already, read "All Tomorrow's Parties" if you want some serious street tanto inspiration...Virtual Light is the first of the pair.

Man, you always think of some epic knives. Excellent execution on an amazing piece.

Actually, this was inspired by the old man assassin from All Tommorrow's Parties... The man who gave his Jaeger LeCoultre to the boy.

I thought it might've been. Nice looking rig, btw.
You read any of the Takeshi Kovacs books by Richard Morgan? Or Jon Courtenay Grimwoods Ashraf Bey books? Good stuff.

Never heard of those books. I don't read as much as I want to. If you like cyberpunk, check out Ghost In The Shell Standalone Complex. It's an anime, but if you can get past that, it's pretty cool.

Here is the next one:

I like that.
And your little Atlas Forge too. :-)

Brother, you are killing it, spot on. Great lines. You have come so far in such a short time. I love the fact that you keep everything on the Street level. You make working tools. Lost art, but you have it and keep it alive ! Thanks rb

I'll be there next year... likely behind Darrel's table. Thanks for the kind words regarding my work. I can't wait to get my 2x72 set up and start using a grinding fixture and tool rest. I'm still freehand on a 1/3hp 1x42.
