I'm Confused CRK Can you help

I recently bought a used Sebenza over BFC. I had it sent directly to CRK for repairs. They charge $20 for re-polishing the blade, and $20 for re-blasting the handles.

I was told that the screws and pins are a little worn so those would be replaced as well. I read that new screws should cost $7.50 for a full set. But CRK is charging me $60 for all the work...so I extrapolated that I'm getting charged $20 for the new screws and pins. Is there something I'm not understanding? Or is it $7.50 for the screws and $12.50 for the pins?

Also, I was told that a dual thumb lug would be an extra $20 (normally $30, but since they're polshing the blade they provide a single lug valued at $10.) But then I got an email that says if I want the dual lugs intalled it would be an additional $30! So does that mean that I'd have to pay $50 to get the lugs and have them on the knife?

I may have misunderstood what's been explained to me by Bridget, so could someone clarify CRK's re-finishing pricing and policies?

Thanks,
Mitch

I forgot to add that after CRK is done with the re-finishing it's going to G2 for a custom sheath. I haven't seen the knife yet, but I can't wait to recieve it!

Gary,
CRK said the knife should be mailing out this Friday! I can't wait!

Thanks,
Mitch

Glad things are working out, this is turning into quite a special knife for you!

Now I've got to locate a wood inlay, but all the one's I've seen are right at the $500 level and I'm not there yet!

Mitch, IMHO you should have asked CRK direct instead of posting here.

Should I request someone to delete the thread? I've had my question answered.

Just so people know what I learned:

Re-polishing blade - $20
Re-blasting handles - $20
Dual Thumblugs - $30
Screws - $1ea
Screw and pin set - $7.50 each (you need three)

Hope this helps anyone who might be confused too. If anything here is inaccurate please let me know.

Thanks
