Ive come to really like the design and build of these three knives. Ive never owned a zt. They look like nice knives. Which of the two do you prefer and possibly why? Thanks for your time..
I have all three of these knives and prefer all of them. I guess it depends on what your needs are. For an everyday edc I would say that the 350 is the way to go since it is the smallest of the three. However I have been known to carry my 200 and 300 as well. Both the 300 series and the 350 are assisted opening and the 200 is manual. The 200 does take just a slight wrist flip to open so it opens just as easily as the 300 and 350. I know I am probably not helping much since I really like all three of these knives. I would see if you could get your hands on each of these knives to see which one feels the best for you.
I have the 200 and love it. But it's a beast of a knife. I should be getting the 350 in the next day or so, and am really looking forward to trying it out. If you like large well built knives, you'll love the 0200..
I have a feeling the 0300 owners will be chiming in soon
I have a 0200 & a 0300 pe. They're both Great knives. I've only that both for a few weeks. The 0200 opens just about as fast with the flipper(I don't use any wrist action) as
the 0300 with speed safe. The 0300 feels better in hand than the 0200 to me. The 0300 also carries a little better than the 0200 for me. I bought the 0200 and got the 0300
in a trade.
As an FYI gpknives has a few 301 in stock now. The owner told me 2 weeks ago he wasn't expecting Any ZTs for 3-6 months. Gpknives also has the best prices I know of
on ZT knives. THIS IS NOT DEAL SPOTTING...GPKNIVES IS A DEALER THAT ADVERTISES ON BF.
They are all great, but, you owe it to yourself to ty out one of the models with the 3d textured G10. Of those I find the 0200 to be the better all arounder. Not saying the 0350 is a bad knife, it's just that it is very similar to alot of other knives with it's slab G10... the 3D textured ones are something special.
I am happy with my 0200 and generally avoid assisted open knives. I feel like it has the best balance of size and shape. The others have an even more overbuilt look to me but don't work as well in my normal sized hands.
Also love that the 0200 carries rather deep in tip-up configuration.
Yeah, I'd go with the 0200. It has the best ergonomics of the three (of pretty much any knife I've handled, actually), is super tough, and has the 3D G10 handles.
