Well, I've read all the threads about lost knives but never really lost a knife that I cared much about until last night...

It was a Microtech UT6 Double action out the front, Boron Carbide coated plan edge. I lost it somewhere between dinner and the walk back to the car. I came home and noticed that it was gone:(

I contemplated about going back to look for it. I figured I paid $400 for the knife, it was worth driving for an hour and a half (round trip)to go back and look.

I looked everywhere. It was a busy night and I'm sure someone found it. I hope that they don't cut the crap out of their hands when they try to figure out what the slide is for:eek:

Well I did find a penny where I though the knife might be...

So, I'm bummed and crying...Here's a picture of my lost friend:

That huge aching void ... I hope somehow it shows up. I lost my wallet once, on the way to the store. When I got home, I called my card companies and cancelled everything. A couple of hours later, it turned up behind the dresser -- I never even put it in my pocket, but of course I remembered doing that so many times before ...

Good luck.

Damn dude that royally sucks, I hope it turns up in your vehicle, OR somewhere else. Look at it this way, at least now you have a legitimate excuse to buy a new Knife.

Gee that's too bad...

Hey, just curious about an old superstition...the one that says you will lose your knife if you let someone open your knife and they do not close it...did you let someone do that recently??

So thats the knife I found... :D
No,I know it seriously sucks. Thats a lot of money to pay for a knife, and to lose it would absolutely kill me. I have had a few close calls with a couple of customs, and keep on searching until it shows up.

Have you looked between the seat and door of your car,or between the seat and center console if there is one? May turn up there. And if its not there, check the fridge...they always wind up in the fridge.

damn if that were true I'd have lost my folders a loong time ago. Sheeple never seem to know how to close lockbacks/liner locks/etc. I almost always get them handed back to me coz they didn't know how to close them or they were afraid of getting v=cut while closing them. oh well...

But I feel for your loss sidewinder!
